Serial bus analysis
Consumer electronics, communications products and other embedded devices use of a variety of serial buses such as I2C, SPI, UART / RS232, USB and so on. RIGOL mainstream oscilloscopes support common serial bus analysis. First, the oscilloscope can complete the bus trigger based on the conditions set, such as frame start, the end, the combination of specific addresses, specific data, address and data, or specific error and so on. Secondly, the oscilloscope can complete the decoding operation of the data bus, is converted into a variety of waveform incomprehensible or character data. The oscilloscope also provides data table feature for showing a large number of data frames. With long memory feature, the user can complete the clear instruction sequence and analyze the relationship between the system and peripheral signals.
Mixed circuit design
ADC / DAC and interface devices which has a lot of serial and parallel bus architecture, is a typical mixed analog and digital circuits, measurement tools need to have the ability to analyze mixed signals. RIGOL MSO provide mixed-signal test capabilities, it also provide 16 digital channels for testing and analysis of digital logic signals and parallel bus. Digital channels can be freely grouped, the selected channel is highlighted in red, red and green two colors represent high and low, these design features all make debugging easier.
For evaluating the system's performance, embedded design often need to input excitation signal to prototype system. RIGOL can provide many types of feature-rich function and arbitrary waveform generator, to meet the needs of such tests. Frequency of signal can be from uHz to 350MHz, single channel and dual channel can be selected. Channel delay and phase dual-channel precision adjustable. If you need digital logic signal source, DG5000 also provides 16 digital pattern output. Another unique advantage is seamless connection between oscilloscope and signal source. RIGOL signal generator can be imported directly from RIGOL oscilloscope with user-friendly interface.
Embedded RF circuit analysis
Adding wireless communication and RF functions has become a trend in embedded systems, engineer need know not only the traditional digital design and test technology, but also need to have the ability to RF circuit analysis. RIGOL provide DSA series spectrum analyzers and DSG series RF signal source, it can be completed up to 7.5GHz spectrum analysis and RF signal output 6GHz, covering a variety of civilian and major military band. Users can simulate the RF signal generation and analysis, to assess the performance of the transmitting and receiving RF module embedded systems. Using a spectrum analyzer with tracking generator, with the VSWR bridge, you can complete parametric testing antennas, filters and other devices.
EMI Test and Diagnosis
Consumer electronics and communications products must pass rigorous EMC certification, facing the high cost of certification testing, engineers hope to finish testing and diagnostics EMI characteristics during product design stage. It reduce the cost of subsequent rectification. RIGOL spectrum analyzer with EMI analysis option, near-field probe and LISN can be completed radiation and conduction testing of electronic products. Near-field probes can locate EMI problems, helping engineers locate the problem.
Power supply simulation
In the system design, in addition to the normal power needs, but also the need to simulate a variety of system operation under working conditions, such as low power, power fluctuations, abrupt load changes. RIGOL can offer many linear power products with excellent quality, low ripple noise 350uVrms, Regulation supply and the load is less than 1%. Transient response of less than 50us, analog power for varying situations. Products have delayed output and timing output functions.
